I had the great fortune to meet Charlene Giannetti, a reporter for Woman Around Town, at the Wax Works show. I was surprised and grateful that she took an interest in my suffragist paintings. As I laughed with her during the interview, I wondered if my small paintings in the back room would carry her interest, and if I was boring her to tears recounting women’s history of 1917.
