I am still creating this painting, slowly building up layers of encaustic and such. You may not be able to tell, but this painting has white flower like objects applied at the hat around the figure. The back gold patterns were created by painting a bright gold background, and stenciling a thick bronze encaustic paint over it.It has a three dimensional texture to it, too.
